Bei Ihnen wurde mit einer Nadel in ein oder mehrere Gelenke zwischen den Handwurzel-Knochen und den Mittelhand-Knochen gestochen.
Die Mittelhand bildet den Handteller beziehungsweise den Handrücken. Sie besteht aus den länglichen Mittelhand-Knochen. Zu jedem Finger gehört ein Mittelhand-Knochen. Gelenke sind von einer Gelenkkapsel umhüllt. Die Gelenkkapsel enthält Gelenkflüssigkeit. So können die Knochen gut aneinander vorbeigleiten.
Über eine Nadel kann man beispielsweise überschüssige Gelenkflüssigkeit, Eiter oder Blut aus dem Gelenk ablassen.
